Pay for tax season, not for a year

Prices are in US dollars. Plans are PayPal subscriptions; card details are entered on PayPal's page and never touch K1 FastTax. See the Terms for billing details.

Each plan is a PayPal subscription. The button opens PayPal checkout for that plan; after you approve it you come back to this page, and within a few minutes we email you a page code from [email protected]. Every renewal tops up the same code.

The code holds your plan's allowance counted in pages: 200 files × up to 150 pages = 30,000 pages every 4 months on the Season Pass, or 100 files × up to 150 pages = 15,000 pages per month on Pro.

Enter the code once in the box; it stays in this browser. It is used only when the free allowance cannot cover a file, and then a file of up to 150 pages converts in full. Unused pages roll over and never expire, and cancelling keeps the pages you have already paid for.

Allow a few minutes for the email and check your spam folder. For help, reply to the email or write to [email protected].

Files over 10 pages are converted up to page 10 on the free allowance; a page code converts the whole file, up to 150 pages.

Plain answers

Pricing questions

What do I get for free?

1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. You get the full result: the CSV, the checklist, the review list and the source lines. The only limits are one file a day and ten pages.

What does the Season Pass include?

$19 every 4 months: 200 K-1 files, each up to 150 pages, with the CSV and checklist for every one. The allowance comes as a page code worth 30,000 pages (200 files × up to 150 pages), topped up each time the pass renews. It is meant for the filing season, when the K-1s arrive in batches.

What is Pro?

$9 per month: 100 K-1 files a month, each up to 150 pages, with the same CSV, checklist and review list. The allowance comes as a page code worth 15,000 pages (100 files × up to 150 pages), topped up every month. It is meant for people who receive K-1s through the year, such as quarterly or amended K-1s, and for preparers who read K-1s for clients.

Does the Season Pass renew automatically?

Yes. The Season Pass is a subscription: it renews every 4 months at $19 until you cancel, and each renewal adds another 30,000 pages to your page code. Pro renews every month at $9. Pages you have not used roll over and never expire, and cancelling keeps the pages you have already paid for.

How do I get my page code after paying?

It is emailed from [email protected] to the address you paid with, usually within a few minutes; check your spam folder if it has not arrived. The email links back to this page with the code filled in and saved, or you can type it into the box above. Enter it once; it stays in this browser. If it has not come, reply to the email or write to [email protected].

Does the free allowance still count when I have a code?

Yes. Your first file of the day, up to 10 pages, is free as before. The code is used only when the free allowance cannot cover a file: a second file that day, or a file over 10 pages. With the code, a file of up to 150 pages converts in full.

How is payment handled?

Each plan is a PayPal subscription. The button opens PayPal checkout for that plan; card details are entered on PayPal's page and never touch K1 FastTax. After you approve the subscription, PayPal brings you back to this page, and the page code follows by email.

Can my tax preparer use K1 FastTax for clients?

Yes, for K-1s you have the right to upload. Pro is the plan for regular use: 100 K-1 files per month. Remember that K-1s contain identifying numbers, and see the privacy page for how files are handled.

Privacy details

How do I cancel or ask for a refund?

Email [email protected] from the address you paid with. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps the pages already on your code. Terms of billing are on the Terms page.

Do paid plans change what the reader can do?

The reading is the same on every plan. Paid plans raise the limits: 200 K-1 files every 4 months on the Season Pass or 100 per month on Pro, and files up to 150 pages instead of 10. The review list, the source lines and the masking of identifiers are the same for everyone.
