K1 FastTax

Terms

Terms of use

Plain terms for a tool that reads tax forms. Last updated 28 October 2026.

1. The service

K1 FastTax lets you upload a Schedule K-1 as a PDF or an image and returns the boxes it read as a table, a CSV and an entry checklist. It does not file anything, and it does not enter anything into tax software. Reading is automatic and can be wrong: scans vary, and the reader may misread or miss a value. Anything it is unsure about is listed for review, but you must still compare the result with the paper form.

2. Acceptable use

  • Upload only documents you have the right to upload: your own K-1s, or a client's with their authority.
  • Do not upload forged, altered or fabricated documents, and do not use the service to produce or support one.
  • Do not try to get around the free allowance, probe or overload the service, or use it to harm others.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful.

We may refuse or limit use that breaks these rules.

3. Plans and billing

The free allowance is 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. Paid plans are subscriptions: the Season Pass is $19 every 4 months, and Pro is $9 per month. Prices are in US dollars. Checkout is handled by a third-party payment provider, which shows the price, the billing period and the renewal terms before you pay. To cancel or to ask about a charge, email [email protected].

4. Your files

You keep all rights in what you upload. You allow us to process it for the sole purpose of producing your result. How files, SSNs and EINs are handled is described on the Privacy page, which is part of these terms.

5. No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without promises about accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. The reading of a document may contain errors.

6. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, K1 FastTax is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for penalties, interest or tax resulting from how you used a result. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes

We may change the service and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
